This amazing couple lives in Dubai. Seth is English but proposed to Christina in Swedish on the very day of Midsummer in Stockholm. Prior to that he had asked Christina’s father for permission- a bit old-fashioned and traditional. How romantic is that?! Preparations were in Djursholm were Christina was brought up and also at Villa Pauli. The ceremony was held in the beautiful chapel of Djursholm by the Archbishop Anders Wejryd. Friends and family began to celebrate the big day together with the bride and groom on a boat in the archipelago of Stockholm. The dinner was held at Strandvägen 7a. Christina is an incredibly beautiful bride and a wonderful human being I am happy to have met her. On her wedding day Christina is wearing her mother’s grandmother’s shoes from 1918, and a beautiful veil that women from four different generations have worn on their weddings. The tiara comes from Christina’s grandmother who got it from her mom. The dress was tailored in Dubai by Christina’s own designs. Hair was done by friend and hairdresser Maria Svensson and makeup of Mikas. Seth won a little bit of my Swedish heart when he held a long speech in Swedish to his beautiful Christina. Thanks for letting me share your big day with you .
Pretty Chic Stockholm Wedding
I think you have seen and have read the lovely engagement story of Annie and Pontus at the wedding blog Polka Dot Bride. Their wedding at Djursholm was very intimate and beautiful with tender and dear friends and family. Preparations were held at Villa Pauli and the beautiful ceremony took place at Djursholms kapell. Annie´s dress is from Garamaj and she is such a stunning and gorgerous bride! I am so happy to have been recommended by my collegue Jennie Kumlin to this amazing couple and I was so thrilled an honoured to be their wedding photographer. We took the wedding portraits right after the ceremony at Villa Pauli and had a special moment by the seaside. Stockholm is truly beautiful at this time of the year.
