Chateau la Durantie is the place where your story begins. The place where dreams come true and a fairytale is just about to be taken place. Friends and families come together to share and celebrate love and happiness. Greg and Audrew invited their loved ones to spend some lovely time together in Dordogne. I think I was as thrilled as them by the beauty and french charm of the chateau and I got very excited when they asked for bright, dreamy and ethereal images. What a prefect match! Audrew made such a stunning bride in her Vera Wang wedding gown. Her make up was made by the talanted make up artist Sanni-Mari Sorma, originally from Finland, so we made a little Scandinavian gathering and it was really nice to work with her. Beautiful flower decorations and bouquets from French Flower Style. When this amazing couple met it was love at first sight and I guess you can tell by the images that we have all fallen in love with Chateau la Durantie. Please contact me if you are thinking of getting married or already have decided to do so at this fabulous place and in the meantime I am planning to get back here as soon as possible. Remember- this is the place where dreams come true!
Fairytale Wedding Faroe Islands
When the bridal couple asked me to photograph their wedding at Faroe Islands my wedding photographer heart beat faster and has kept on beating fast for Destination Weddings ever since! To travel and shoot people on one of their happiest days of their lives is truly amazing and I feel so honoured to do this. This is a real fairytale wedding with both danish and fareoish traditions and some scottish traditions too I believe, since the father of the bride is from Scotland. The groom is from the Faroe Islands and the tradition says the groom should choose the flowers for the bridal bouquet so the bride had no idea how the bouquet would turn out. What particularly stayed in my heart from this amazing wedding was the singing part during the whole dinner. Every now and then all guests would start singing beautiful folksongs. I cross my fingers to one day come back to the fairytale islands of Faroe.
