But this is also a great oppurtunity to get nice and different photos because you shoot on a day which is not your wedding day. You can go to places that were not possible to go on the big day. You don´t have to worry about getting your wedding dress dirty. And you really don´t have to stick to time scedules and get stressed and hurry. Most wedding portraits are shot during noon-time which in fact is the most horrible time to shoot photos if it is sunny. The most preferable time when to shoot is during the evening and using the very soft and warmer light and you can play with pale colours and tonescales. I am still not sure whether to call these sessions trash- sessions or not, and you know I am a big sucker for romance and like to stay that way when photographing weddings so perhaps it is not a good word for this kind of photography. Perhaps I should call these sessions after the wedding sessions. Have you other suggestions how to call these sessions? Please let me know! Mariah and Stefan who got married in Stockholm and in the very beginning of July had a second session with me at Sandhamn outside Stockholm. I loved to seeing them again and we spent a nice evening in the beautiful swedish archipelago.
